06/11/2025 - Melbourne: Nissan Australia has confirmed the arrival of the MY26 X-TRAIL for Q1 2026. The updated range will boast design enhancements, advanced technology features and interior refinements boosting the appeal that has made the X-TRAIL a standout in Australia's competitive medium SUV segment.

The updated MY26 X-TRAIL features a bold new exterior design language with refreshed front and rear styling, enhanced interior materials and finishes, as well as the introduction of Nissan's Connected Car Services (CCS 1.0) technology across the range.

Distinctive New Design Language

The MY26 Nissan X-TRAIL range showcases Nissan's evolved design philosophy, featuring a distinctive new front grille, redesigned front and rear bumpers, and fresh LED lighting signatures that combine to create a more premium and confident presence on the road.

New exterior colour options join the palette, while the interior receives enhanced seat materials, updated trim finishes and refined colour combinations that elevate the cabin's premium feel.

Advanced Technology Integration

The introduction of Connected Car Services (CCS 1.0) represents a significant technological advancement for the MY26 Nissan X-TRAIL range, delivering comprehensive remote vehicle monitoring and control capabilities.

The system offers features such as remote engine start, vehicle health reporting, theft/burglar notifications, and maintenance alerts, all of which are managed through a dedicated smartphone app.

From the ST-L grade and above, the updated X-TRAIL also features enhanced Around View Monitor technology^. The updated system now includes advanced features such as Skeleton Hood view for improved visibility on narrow roads and Multi View support for T-junction scenarios, providing greater confidence during parking and low-speed manoeuvring.

The MY26 X-TRAIL's updated infotainment system continues to offer wireless Android Auto^> and Apple CarPlay^> compatibility, while the 12.3" display audio remains standard from ST grade.

The MY26 X-TRAIL will be available across ST, ST-L, Ti and Ti-L grades, with both conventional ICE and e-POWER e-4ORCE variants offered. The range continues to provide five-seat and seven-seat configurations to suit varying family requirements.

While Pricing sees an increase of $1,150 across the range, Nissan will confirm full specification details closer to the vehicle's Australian launch in the first quarter of 2026.
