30/10/2025: NASHVILLE, Tenn: Nissan returns to the SEMA show with four exhilarating concepts that stretch the possibilities and capabilities of the brand's vehicles, inspiring enthusiasts to imagine ways Nissan vehicles can be a canvas for supporting their passions.¹

For this year's SEMA show, Nissan's special builds are based on the effortlessly capable Armada full-size SUV, the rugged and right-sized Frontier pickup, the adrenaline-pumping Z NISMO sports car and the legendary Patrol off-roader.

These vehicles will be on display at the Nissan booth, #21521, at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Nov. 4-7.

Nissan Dune Patrol

The Nissan Dune Patrol² is the ultimate, ultra-comfortable support vehicle for the most extreme off-road events. Paying homage to the Nissan Patrol's desert racing history, Dune Patrol takes the rugged capability of PRO-4X to the next level with a custom long-travel racing suspension, widened fenders and prototype NISMO 18-inch AXIS beadlock wheels wrapped in 37-inch Yokohama GEOLANDAR M/T G003 tires.

An array of custom and prototype NISMO Off Road parts improve durability against hazards while supporting off-road racers. These include high clearance bumpers with a swing-out spare tire and traction board mount, frame-mounted rock sliders, skid plates, off-road lighting, a roof rack and a cat-back exhaust system. For long adventures away from resupply points, the Dune Patrol also features storage and mounting solutions both inside and out for all essential gear such as roof-mounted storage cases, MOLLE panels for fuel and water canisters, an on-board air compressor system, and even a long-range radio antenna.

Nissan Frontier Rapid Runner

Project Trailgater³ returns for its second SEMA, with a radical transformation from the ultimate tailgating rig to the thrill-seeking partner for white-water kayaking. The Nissan Frontier project vehicle was reimagined once again by POWERNATION TV, this time with all the gear necessary for hitting the rapids.

Building on the adventurous capability of Frontier PRO-4X to ensure paddlers can reach nearly any portage site, the project truck includes a NISMO roof rack and bed rack systems for carrying multiple kayaks. Prototype NISMO 17-inch ASCEND wheels wrapped in 37-inch Yokohama GEOLANDAR X-MT tires help provide maximum traction, while suspension and axles from the Nissan TITAN widen the track width to accommodate the larger wheels. The eye-catching exterior is highlighted by one-off custom tubular doors to enhance the open-air experience along with custom-fit front and rear bumpers and widened fender flares that add protection to the vehicle on dirt roads and trails.

Helping white-water enthusiasts get back to dry land more comfortably, the Rapid Runner boasts paddle and wetsuit storage, a rack-mounted portable shower and solar panels for recharging gear. Meanwhile, custom Covercraft® waterproof seat covers and all-purpose lined floors deal with soggy passengers and waterlogged gear.

The creation of the Rapid Runner will be shown on POWERNATION TV's "Dirt and Trails," with the first of the four-episode build series going live Nov. 7.

Forsberg Racing NISMO GT-Z

The latest in a long history of collaborations with Forsberg Racing, the NISMO GT-Z⁴ — owned and modified by Forsberg Racing - is a track-ready race car planned to enter competition in the GRIDLIFE GLGT series in 2026. Starting life as a standard Z NISMO, the build incorporates NISMO performance parts, highlighting how the scintillating sports car can be accessibly upgraded into a highly competitive racer.

The suspension, exhaust kits and miscellaneous other parts are sourced from the NISMO catalog, showcasing the way Nissan and NISMO enable enthusiasts to build sports cars that meet their needs and driving style.

Nissan's SEMA booth brings the GT-Z experience to life with a custom Podium 1 racing simulator, featuring a bespoke racing seat and immersive setup that lets SEMA attendees virtually pilot the GT-Z racing car.

Forsberg Racing Patrol

Forsberg Racing also turned its attention to Nissan's heritage, upfitting their classic Y60-generation Patrol⁵ into a turbocharged monster. Under the hood, an engine swap boasts 1,000 horsepower, delivered to the road – or dirt – by way of custom NISMO 17-inch AXIS beadlock wheels shod in 35-inch Yokohama GEOLANDAR tires.

The 1990 Nissan Patrol represents an unforgettable chapter in Nissan history, making a name for Patrol globally as an incredibly capable overlander, off-road racer and more. The upgrades all remain within the Nissan family: suspension and wheels come from the NISMO Off Road catalog, while the powertrain is a highly modified Nissan TB48 turbocharged 4.8-liter inline-six.
