Commanding Concept Previews Direction For New Navara Warrior

19/11/2025, MELBOURNE: Nissan tonight unveiled a striking Navara PRO-4X Warrior concept as part of the global debut for the all-new Navara D27.
The concept provides the first glimpse of what the next-generation Warrior could deliver when combined with the capability of the new Navara platform.
Developed in collaboration with Premcar – Nissan Australia's trusted engineering partner for the acclaimed Warrior program since 2019 – the concept showcases design thinking around enhanced off-road capability and aggressive styling cues.
The concept is based on the range-topping Pro-4X grade of the all-new Navara and features a comprehensive suite of enhancements.

Heritage Meets Innovation
Since launching with the Navara N-Trek Warrior in 2019, the Warrior by Premcar program has delivered over 12,750 locally remanufactured vehicles to Australian customers, establishing itself as the benchmark for factory-enhanced pickup trucks designed specifically for Australian conditions.
The concept revealed tonight demonstrates how this proven enhancement philosophy could evolve with the advanced platform capabilities of the D27 Navara.
It combines Nissan's latest engineering and localisation expertise with Premcar's deep understanding of Australian ute buyers and their real-world requirements.
Bernie Quinn, Premcar CEO/Engineering Director: "The Warrior program has always been about understanding what Australian ute buyers truly need. Not just what looks good in a showroom, but what delivers genuine capability enhancement both on-road and off. This concept explores how we can apply six years of Warrior learnings and customer feedback to the advanced D27 platform.”
“The new Navara provides an exceptional foundation with its redesigned chassis and rugged sophisticated suspension architecture. This concept demonstrates how Premcar's proven approach to suspension tuning, wheel and tyre optimisation, and capability enhancement could elevate the D27's already impressive performance envelope.”
“Since 2019, we've learned so much from Warrior owners about how they use their vehicles – from weekday workhorse to weekend adventurer. Every one of those insights has informed our thinking on this concept, from ground clearance targets to approach angles, from ride quality expectations to towing stability requirements. On top of all of that, our customers love a vehicle that is fun to drive”

“This concept celebrates both the heritage of what we've built together with Nissan over the past six years, and our excitement about where we could take the Warrior program with this new platform."

The wider track, increased ride height, and enhanced protection package work together to improve the vehicle's capability across diverse Australian terrain, from highway towing to remote area exploration, while maintaining the ride quality and comfort that has made the Warrior program successful with both commercial and lifestyle buyers.
