Finding a family-friendly SUV with plenty of room for prams, bags and the kids is a task made easy with the diverse Nissan SUV range.

From a small 5 seater SUV like the Nissan QASHQAI, to the Nissan X-TRAIL, a midsize SUV with 5 or 7 seater options and the large 7-seater Nissan Pathfinder, you’ll find an SUV that best suits your family.

Do Nissan SUVs fit baby seats?

Of course! Every model in the Nissan SUV range come fitted with 2 ISOFIX anchorage points to fit baby seats comfortably and safely. The tether points in Nissan SUVs are all to the Australian safety standard.

Small SUV

The Nissan QASHQAI is a compact SUV that allows 5 occupants. It fits two baby seats using the two ISOFIX anchorage tether points. The QASHQAI N-TEC (Ti available from July 2018) has a panoramic sunroof – perfect for playing eye-spy with the kids in the back! The QASHQAI has good leg room and comes with 430L boot space.

Midsize SUV

The Nissan X-TRAIL is a midsize SUV. It comes with two ISOFIX anchorage tether points for two baby seats and can comfortably fit a third child seated in the middle. The X-TRAIL has a larger boot than many midsized SUVs, with 565L, plenty of room to fit prams and the rest. If your hands are full when approaching the boot, the motion-activated tailgate in the Nissan X-TRAIL Ti will automatically open when you kick under the rear bumper. Handy, huh?

7 Seater SUV

The Nissan Pathfinder is a 7 seater SUV and has three rows of seats. The Pathfinder’s EZ FlexTM seating system featuring Latch and GlideTM Technology, makes getting into the back row easy - you don’t even have to remove the two baby seats from the middle row to do so. This 7 seater SUV also has two ISOFIX anchorage points to safely tether two baby seats in the middle row.

Even with all three rows of the 7 seater in use, the Pathfinder still has a boot space of 453L – plenty of space for the pram. And if that’s not enough, you can increase the boot space capacity by folding down the third row. Easy!

So there you have it, between the small QASHQAI, midsize X-TRAIL and 7-seater Pathfinder, there’s a Nissan SUV to best suit your family.
