HOW TO SECURE A UTE LOAD USING THE NISSAN UTILI-TRACKTM SYSTEM
Thanks to the Nissan Utili-TrackTM system, securing your ute load doesn’t have to feel like mission impossible.
Available in the dual cab and king cab Nissan Navara ST-X, the Utili-TrackTM is a set of channels and cleats that can slide, move and tighten easily, providing endless carrying combinations for your ute.
STEP 1: Load up, line up, lock up
Start by loading up the tray ensuring the weight of the load is distributed evenly – heavy items at the bottom and lighter items near the top. Next, line up the Utili-Track™ bracket with your load by sliding it along the channel. Once in position, twist the bracket to lock it into place.
STEP 2: Prepare your tie down straps
Take your strap and feed it into the ratchet, placing it through the axle and pulling it tightly out the other side.
STEP 3: Secure your load
Lastly, on each side hook the end of the strap onto the Utili-Track™ bracket and then to the load itself. To ensure everything stays in place, tighten the ratchet strap until it feels taut.
Always double check your straps are tight and any leftover rope/strap is secured before driving off.
