The location of your vehicle is always viewable via the NissanConnect Lite smartphone application. Therefore anybody with access to your account will be able to see vehicle information, including location via the ‘Find My Car’ and ‘Trip History’ features.
Nissan, and our associated Roadside service providers, will only be able to see vehicle location based on triggered events. This will show the vehicle location at the time of these events, and therefore are not necessarily the current or live location. These location sharing events include things like Airbag deployment / Crash notification, MIL / Warning light location & Vehicle Disturbance Notification. Additionally when contacting Nissan Roadside Assist via the NissanConnect app, you will be able to ‘share location’ in order to assist the RSA team in responding to your request.
