Get More Room To Move.

Climb into the Nissan Tiida and you’ll immediately notice something. It’s comfortable; really comfortable. The reason is simple – there’s loads of space. Headroom, shoulder room, legroom, it’s all there. And, unlike some cars, it’s true in the back seat as well; the Tiida will seat five adults with ease.

Spacious interior

Of course, if you’re going to carry a number of people, you need to be able to carry all their belongings too. We’ve designed the Tiida to be just as generous for luggage as it is for passengers. Sedan or hatch, you’ll find plenty of room in the back. And the Q model offers the additional benefit of a sliding rear seat that can be adjusted to give you extra passenger room or more luggage space.

There's no doubt a little touch of class makes a lot of difference. You'll find premium seat trim and a leather steering wheel in the Q Hatch and Ti Sedan.

60/40 split rear seats

All hatch models as well as the Ti sedan come with a 60/40 split fold rear seat that lets you transport longer items or gain easy access to the boot from inside the cabin.

After all the talk of a comfortable and roomy interior, it’s easy to overlook just how well designed the Tiida’s exterior is. Thousands of hours were spent developing and refining the Tiida’s impressive aerodynamics and styling. The car’s contemporary appearance is enhanced by 15 inch 7 spoke alloy wheels on the ST-L, Q and Ti models, while the Q and Ti also feature a sporty rear spoiler.

Halogen headlights

Powerful Halogen headlights feature high power and wide illumination, which provides excellent visibility at night or in poor weather.

Rear spoiler

Look extra sporty with a rear spoiler on the Q hatch and Ti sedan.

15" alloy wheels

The Tiida ST-L, Q and Ti feature stylish and light weight 15" 7 spoke alloy wheels.

15" steel wheels

The Tiida ST comes with 15" steel wheels with smooth, snap-on silver full wheel covers.

Front fog lights

Low to the ground, front fog lights on the Q hatch will improve visibility at night or in poor weather.

Keyless entry

Keyless entry enables you to unlock your Tiida with the touch of a button on the key fob. The Tiida key fob also includes a panic alarm function. In case you ever need it, the push of the panic alarm sounds the horn on the Tiida for an extended period of time.

All Tiidas feature body coloured, power, rear vision door mirrors.

The Nissan Tiida is powered by a sturdy 4 cylinder engine. Its all aluminium construction gives it reduced weight for greater power and responsiveness, giving you all the acceleration you need, whilst maintaining impressive fuel economy.

Power 1.8L engine

The Nissan Tiida is powered by a sturdy 1.8 litre DOHC 16 valve 4 cylinder engine. Its all aluminium construction gives it reduced weight for greater power and responsiveness. The 93kW of power and 174Nm of torque give you all the acceleration you need, whilst maintaining impressive fuel economy.

Choice of transmission

The Tiida sedan and hatch ST and ST-L, as well as the Q hatch let you choose between a 6-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed automatic transmission. The Ti sedan features a 4-speed automatic transmission only.

DOHC

A double overhead cam is characterised by two camshafts located within the cylinder head, one operating the inlet valves and one operating the exhaust valves.

Fuel economy

While it feels like a big car on the inside, it still offers small car fuel economy - with just 7.6L/100km* for the 6-speed manual and 7.8L/100km* for the 4-speed automatic (*figures calculated in accordance with ADR 81/01. Actual fuel consumption will vary depending on driving conditions, driver behaviour, the condition of the vehicle and accessories fitted).

Smooth ride

Tiida makes light work of a bumpy road with independent MacPherson strut front suspension with stabiliser bar and a rear torsion beam suspension with coil springs.

Peace of Mind Safety.

Enjoy the peace of mind that comes with big car safety features – including a safety zone body construction and side impact protection. Designed to absorb impact energy, the Tiida creates a protective shell for passengers in the event of an accident. This is enhanced by a raft of safety features, from front airbags to a number of braking technologies and much more to keep you out of harms way.

Anti-lock Braking System

The Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) helps you retain directional control whilst braking. It optimises braking performance by sensing wheel lock and sending a signal to the braking system to release the locked wheel. As the wheel unlocks, it can be steered. The system individually applies and releases the brakes to help provide optimum stopping and control under extreme braking situations.

Brake Assist

In emergency braking situations, Brake Assist (BA) generates extra pressure on the braking system. Brake Assist and ABS work together to give optimum control by preventing wheel lockage when braking.

Brakeforce Distribution

Senses the load condition of both passengers and luggage to optimise rear brakeforce and control front and rear brake distribution. This enables safer driving, whether on your own or while carrying a full load of passengers or cargo.

Dual front airbags

Reduces the risk of facial and upper body injuries to the driver and passenger in the event of a frontal collision. The airbags are designed to remain inflated long enough to help provide enhanced protection.

Dual curtain airbags

Roof mounted curtain side impact airbags drop down in the event of a side impact for added head protection of front and rear passengers.

Seatbelt pretensioners

The front seatbelts include a pretensioner and load limiter. The pretensioner uses sensors to determine the severity of a potential crash and instantly tightens accordingly. Should additional force be exerted on the seatbelt, the load limiter ensures appropriate give so as to reduce any damaging pressure on the torso of front seat occupants.

Side intrusion bars

Robust door reinforcements and an anti-intrusion door structure mean impact energy is distributed to the body side structures in the event of an accident.

Crumple zones

The front of the Tiida features a crumple zone, which helps absorb impacts. The energy-absorbing interior steering column compresses during frontal impacts to improve occupant safety significantly. The rear, inbuilt crumple zone furthermore helps absorb impact and reduce the risk of injury.

Child Safety

Three child seat anchorage points add greater seating flexibility, depending on your particular needs. Child safety rear door locks also prevent children from accidentally opening the rear doors.

TIIDA

Tiida features a 1.8 DOHC 16 valve 4 cylinder engine in your choice of 6-speed manual or optional 4-speed automatic transmission. Safety features including an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA), as well as driver and front passenger front SRS airbags, side intrusion bars and front seatbelt pretensioners with load limiters. Tiida's interior features include air conditioning, CD player, cruise control on the automatic transmission, 60/40 split fold rear seats and remote keyless entry.

ST-L

The Tiida ST-L includes all the features of the Tiida ST shown above, as well as the added safety of dual curtain SRS airbags, an upgraded charcoal tricot cloth seat trim, power windows, 15" alloy wheels and rear headrests.

The Tiida Q hatch includes all the features of the Tiida ST-L shown above, as well as the added features of charcoal premium seat trim, a leather steering wheel, front foglights, a rear spoiler, a sliding rear seat, sunglasses holder and front map lights.

The Tiida Ti sedan includes all the features of the Tiida ST-L shown above, as well as the added features of charcoal premium seat trim, a leather steering wheel, a rear boot spoiler, sunglasses holder and front map lights. The Ti sedan is available in an automatic transmission only.
