Glass sunroof

The Nissan Murano features a panoramic dual panel glass sunroof that spans both front and rear occupants.  The sunroof provides a very open and inviting environment for all to enjoy. It can also be opened and tilted above the driver and front passenger letting the open sky and sun inside, alternately at the press of a button an internal sunshade will cover both sections of the dual panel sunroof keeping everyone comfortable.

Spacious interior

The Nissan Murano ST and Ti has a spacious interior with seating for five and ample leg and head room for all.  The seats are finished in black leather trim, whilst selected Ti models have the no-cost option of ivory leather trim.

Push button start

The Nissan Murano can be started with the push of a button on both ST and Ti models.  There is no need to place a key in the igntion and no more fumbling for keys in your pocket, bag or purse! 

Satellite Navigation

The Nissan Murano Ti features HDD Satellite Navigation with 3D mapping and 7" integrated colour display.  This allows you to set your destination and be directed via the best path.  This system also features the convenience of a touch screen and steering wheel controls. Ti interior shown.

iPod^ connectivity

Enjoy your favourite songs using your iPod^ with connectivity to the audio system.

7" display

Both the Nissan Murano ST and Ti models feature an integrated 7" colour display, in which to operate the audio system, view the clock and on the Ti model, view the Satellite Navigation system.  ST interior shown

Reversing camera

When the Nissan Murano is put into reverse, a rear view camera is activated, allowing you to see what is behind.  When turning whilst reversing, this system provides a predicted path that the particular angle of the turn you are making will lead you to.

Bluetooth®

The Bluetooth® handsfree phone system with the Nissan Murano allows your mobile phone to be connected to the vehicle a Bluetooth® connection.  When a call comes in, the audio is muted and a call can be answered and ended via the push of a button on the dash for the ST model or the added convenience of steering wheel controls on the Ti model.  The Ti model also has the added feature of pre-programming capability, allowing you to enter numbers into the system as well, which is again controlled via the steering wheel or 7"inch colour touch screen.

Bose® audio system

Both Nissan Murano models benefit from one of the top brands in audio, Bose®, which adds a further touch of luxury to the interior. The audio system features a single CD in-dash player with AM/FM radio and MP3/WMA capability.  You can also enoy rich, quality sound from 11 speakers including two subwoofers.

Music Box hard drive

Both the Nissan Murano ST and Ti models allow you load up the hard disc drive with your favourite music library.  The ST features 2GB and the Ti a very generous 9.3GB.

Power rear seats

60/40 split fold rear seats fold flat via the pull of levers positioned in the boot of the Nissan Murano.  On the Ti model, the push of a button from either the driver's seat or the boot raises the seats up electrically to form the rear seats.

Leather seats

Both Nissan Murano ST and Ti models feature luxurious double stitched leather trim seats finished in black.  Selected Ti models also have the no-cost option of ivory leather trim.

Heated front seats

On a bitterly cold morning, in the front seats you will really appreciate the snug sense of warmth provided by leather-trimmed seats with two heat settings.

Electric front seats

For maximum comfort, both Murano ST and Ti models feature 8-way driver’s electric seat adjustment and 4-way front passenger electric seat adjustment.

Driver's seating memory

Avoid having to find your perfect seating position every time.  The Ti model allows up to two drivers to pre-program their ideal seating configuration, including the position of the electrically adjustable steering column and door mirrors, all at the push of a button.

Dual zone air-conditioning

Dual zone automatic climate control air-conditioning on both models allows both driver and front passenger to control their own temperature and fan speed for added convenience and comfort.

Video input jack

For use as either an auxiliary MP3 player input or video input, the Ti Murano's video input jack, located inside the front centre console, which allows you to enhance your entertainment experience as you wish.

Leather steering wheel

The luxurious leather trim interior is enhanced by the leather trimmed steering wheel on both ST and Ti models.

Leather shift lever

The shfit lever on both ST and Ti models features a leater trimmed shift lever with double stitching detail.  This adds to the level of quality and experience that sets the Nissan Murano apart from all others.

Steering column

The Nissan Murano features a steering column that can be adjusted up and down and in and out “telescopically” for the best location of the steering wheel.  Additionally, the Murano Ti is electrically adjustable, for added ease of adjustment, which is tied into the seating memory so that the perfect position for the driver can be memorised.

Steering wheel controls

Steering wheel controls for audio, cruise control and Satellite Navigation mean your hands never need to leave the steering wheel.  The Bluetooth® controls are also included within the steering wheel, so when a call comes in, or you want to make an outgoing call, your hands again don't need to leave the steering wheel (Ivory Ti interior shown).

Exterior styling

The Nissan Murano's bold, streamlined contours are a perfect reflection of its progressive design. Ti in Tinted Bronze shown.

Distinctive front grille

Innovative and futuristic, the front grille forms the aesthetic cornerstone for the Murano's confident and progressive new exterior styling.

Rain sensing wipers

Rain sensing automatic front wipers on both the Nissan Murano ST and Ti  models mean the wipers will automatically turn on when rain begins and the speed of the wipers is moderated by the level of rain hitting the front windscreen.  This provides added convenience and safety.  The sensitivity of the wiper system can be adjusted by rotating the wiper control on the steering column. Ti in Tinted Bronze shown.

Electric tail gate

The Nissan Murano Ti features an electronic tail gate that can be opened and closed with a push of a button.  This brings a new level of ease and convenience when shopping or when out with friends or family.  Ti in Tinted Bronze shown.

Auto sensing headlights

The Nissan Murano features Xenon headlights that automatically turn on to keep the road fully illuminated, even in the most extreme conditions.

Xenon headlights

The sharp white light produced by high intensity discharge bulbs in the ST and Ti offer outstanding illumination at night and in poor visibility conditions.  The Murano also features headlight washers for quick and easy cleaning of headlights when required.

Front fog lamps

Front fog lamps help increase your visibility when needed, whilst adding to the flowing design of the Nissan Murano.  Fog lights are standard on both the ST and Ti models.

LED taillights

LED taillights give a smart, modern look to the rear of the Nissan Murano.  The lights also improve visibility and safety in all weather with faster and brighter illumination.

18" alloy wheels

The Nissan Murano features five-spoke 18" alloy wheels, which lend an air of confidence and sportiness to the ST and Ti models.  Both models also feature a full size spare wheel for added safety and security.

Intelligent Key

The Intelligent Key automatically unlocks the Murano without you having to fish it out of your bag or pocket.  Once inside, the Murano can be started at the push of a button and there is no need to place a key in the ignition.

Roof rails

Black roof rails on the Nissan Murano ST and silver roof rails on the Ti provide you with added cargo carrying options. ST in Tempest Blue shown.

Rear spoiler

The sporty rear tailgate spoiler rounds off the Nissan Murano's stylish exterior and houses the rear high mounted stop light. ST in Tempest Blue shown.

Rear privacy glass

Rear privacy glass adds a level of sophistication to the exterior of the Nissan Murano, and also helps keep the interior cabin private. Ti in Ivory Pearl shown.

The dual chrome exhaust pipes provide a stylish finish to the Murano's exterior profile and hint at the performance capabilities of the new Murano.

3.5 V6 VQ35HR engine

Becoming a legendary part of our DNA is the Nissan V6 engine series, known as the VQ series.  This engine series has been named on the 10 Best Engines list by Ward's Automotive Group for 14 years in a row (1995 - 2008), meaning it is the most awarded V6 engine series in history.  The Nissan Murano's VQ35HR engine is the latest generation of this series and outputs 191kW of power and 336Nm of torque for exceptional performance.

Xtronic CVT transmission

The Nissan Murano's Xtronic Continuously Variable Automatic Transmission (CVT) is a computer controlled ‘stepless' transmission providing a virtually limitless number of ratios, ensuring the engine is always working as efficiently as possible. It's more comfortable, too: a long uphill drive in a conventional automatic will invariably be accompanied by regular down shifts as the engine hunts for power. With CVT, the engine revs stay constant as the transmission itself adjusts seamlessly to ensure momentum is maintained. For a more sporty drive, the CVT system has Manual Mode (M-Mode), which is operated via the central gear stick, 6 set ratios can be accessed manually by nudging the lever forward or back.

DOHC

A dual overhead cam is characterised by two camshafts located within the cylinder head, one operating the inlet valves and one operating the exhaust valves.

Fuel economy

The Nissan Murano's next generation engine and CVT transmission combine to deliver a rated fuel consumption of just 10.9* litres per 100km (*figures have been calculated in accordance with ADR81/01. Actual fuel consumption will vary depending on driving conditions, driver behaviour, the condition of your vehicle and the accessories fitted).

Power steering

The Nissan Murano features speed sensitive hydraulic power steering. The feeling of the steering changes depending on your speed.  The result is a more direct, confident experience when travelling at high speed, and a lighter touch at lower speeds for better manoeuvrability, such as when parking.

New car-like platform

The car-like platform that the Nissan Murano is built on improves handling, stiffness, ride comfort, NVH (Noise Vibration Harshness), suspension and overall safety.

Suspension

Multi-link independent rear suspension and independent strut front suspension, with front and rear stabiliser bars provide extremely precise handling and high speed stability.

Ride Comfort

The Nissan Murano is built on a car drived platform, which allows for excellent handling, low noise vibration, comfortable suspension and overall safety.  The end result is surprisingly level of agility that you will appreciate. Ti in Tinted Bronze shown.

Reversing Camera

Both the Nissan Murano ST and Ti models feature a reverse camera, which makes either parking or reversing easier and safer by helping to ensure you avoid obstacles.

Vehicle Dynamic Control

Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), also known as Electronic Stability Program, is an advanced standard safety feature, which helps you remain in control of your vehicle during critical situations to avoid serious accidents.  The VDC system achieves this by comparing the actions of the driver with the momentary vehicle behaviour and controls the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Traction Control Systems (TCS) accordingly, to initiate the appropriate corrective action by selectively braking individual wheels and controlling engine power.  This stabilises the vehicle and keeps it on its intended path.

Traction Control System

The Traction Control System (TCS) limits tyre slip for safer driving.  When the system senses one wheel is spinning faster than the others, it automatically reduces engine power and pumps that wheel's brake to reduce speed and lessen slip.

Anti-lock Braking System

The Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) helps you retain directional control whilst braking.  It optimises braking performance by sensing wheel lock and sending a signal to the braking system to release the locked wheel.  As the wheel unlocks, it can be steered.  The system individually applies and releases the brakes to help provide optimum stopping and control under extreme braking situations.

Brake Assist

In emergency braking situations, Brake Assist (BA) generates extra pressure on the braking system.  Brake Assist and ABS work together to give optimum control by preventing wheel lockage when braking.

Brakeforce Distribution

Senses the load condition of both passengers and luggage to optimise rear brakeforce and control front and rear brake distribution.  This enables safer driving, whether on your own or while carrying a full load of passengers or cargo.

Active Brake Limited Slip

If a loss of traction is detected in one of the drive wheels, ABLS applies individual braking force to that wheel to help slow it down.  Power is then re-directed to the wheels with greater traction.

ALL MODE 4x4-i

Murano offers the safety benefits of ALL MODE 4x4-i technology.  When required, the vehicle will automatically change to four-wheel-drive for improved traction.  Of course, you can manually lock the vehicle into four-wheel-drive whenever you feel it is necessary.

Dual front airbags

Reduces the risk of facial and upper body injuries to the driver and passenger in the event of a frontal collision.  The airbags are designed to remain inflated long enough to help provide enhanced protection.

Dual side airbags

Side airbags are deployed in the event of a side impact to protect the driver and passenger.

Dual curtain airbags

Furthermore, roof mounted curtain side impact supplemental airbags drop down in the event of a side impact for added head protection of passengers.

Seatbelt pretensioners

The front seatbelts include a pretensioner and load limiter.  The pretensioner uses sensors to determine the severity of a potential crash and instantly tightens accordingly.  Should additional force be exerted on the seatbelt, the load limiter ensures appropriate give so as to reduce any damaging pressure on the torso of front seat occupants.

Active head restraints

Provide additional neck protection for front seat passengers against serious injury from the effects of whiplash in the event of a rear collision.

Four disc brakes

Heat is dissipated more rapidly to improve braking action, promote less brake fade and enhance brake life.

Crumple zones

The front of the Murano features a crumple zone, which helps absorb impacts.  The energy-absorbing interior steering column compresses during frontal impacts to improve occupant safety significantly.  The rear, inbuilt crumple zone furthermore helps absorb impact and reduce the risk of injury.

Side intrusion bars

Robust door reinforcements and an anti-intrusion door structure mean impact energy is distributed to the body side structures in the event of an accident.

Child Safety

Three child seat anchorage points add greater seating flexibility, depending on your particular needs.  Child safety rear door locks also prevent children from accidentally opening the rear doors.
