The Nissan Patrol Cab Chassis is powered by
its new 3.0 litre common-rail turbo diesel engine
with intercooler.
This common-rail engine is more responsive across
the entire rev range which makes it great for everything
from towing to overtaking on the open road. Vibration
is also reduced for a smoother ride.
What’s more, it’s faster from a standing start. Indeed,
power is up to 118kW at 3,400rpm.
There’s plenty of grunt down low too - 380Nm at a
range of 2,000 – 2,400rpm, in fact.
Add this to the 5-speed manual transmission with
double cone synchromesh on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd
gears, as well as a chain driven transfer case and
you’ve got a workhorse that eats up the open road. |
