| At Nissan we
believe that when you buy a new car, you should get more than
just a car. You should get a serious commitment from the maker
of that car. So every new Nissan comes with Nissan 24-Hour Roadside
Assistance, valid for the period of your new car warranty regardless
of how many kilometres you travel.
What is Nissan 24-Hour Roadside
Assistance?
Nissan 24-Hour Roadside Assistance is a service which
Nissan provides to new Nissan owners.
If you've locked your keys in your car, if you've had a flat
tyre or flat battery, or if you've simply run out of fuel
we'll get you going again at no charge* - and there's no limit to
the number of times you can call us.
* Batteries supplied outside of the Battery Warranty contained in the Warranty Section of the Nissan new vehicle Customer Information Booklet, are at your cost. Five (5) litres of emergency fuel supplied free. Additional fuel supplied at your cost.
If you have lost the ignition key, we will organise for it
to be replaced at your cost.
And if your Nissan has a problem other than those mentioned
above (and which is not due to theft or accident) and is immobilised,
with your permission we will transport it to the nearest Nissan
Dealer or alternative repairer.
If the problem occurs more than 100 kilometres from home,
and cannot be rectified in 24 hours, we'll arrange and pay
for up to two nights' accommodation (room only, to a maximum
of $150.00 per night).
Alternatively, we'll arrange and pay for up to $300.00 for
transport for you and your passengers, to either your intended
destination or home (note: these away from home benefits do
not apply to Civilian Bus).
How do I get Roadside Assistance if I need it?
If you have a problem with your Nissan and you need help
or assistance, all you have to do is ring 1800 035 035.
This is a free call from anywhere in Australia and the service
is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
What if my car is stolen, or is involved in an accident?
You can call us on 1800 035 035 and we will provide
you with general advice regarding any obligations you may
have to the police, insurance company, or finance company,
if applicable.
We'll also assist you and your passengers in locating local
transport alternatives and accommodation if required.
Please note that for vehicles which have been stolen or involved
in an accident, Roadside Assistance is limited to telephone
advice only.
What about illness or injury?
If illness or injury occurs while driving your Nissan, we'll
help you locate local medical facilities.
We'll also arrange suitable emergency accommodation if you
or one of your passengers become unable or unwilling, through
illness or injury, to continue the journey. If the illness
or injury results in hospitalisation for three days or more
while over 100 kilometres from home, we will arrange and pay
for patient transfer with full medical escort to the medical
facility nearest their home, where continuing medical care
can be obtained. (Transfers will be taken at the injured person's
request and with the consent of the treating doctor.)
